The Sekt Weiss is made from Muller-Thurgau and Silvaner from the sandstone and porphyry soils of Weingut Rapp in the Nahe, and from Pinot Blanc from Weingut Mohr’s slate soils in Lorch in the Rheingau. The wines are shipped to Rudesheim to be bottled sparkling by Ohlig.
