Vegan
Many wines are filtered through substances called “fining agents” in the winemaking process. They are used to remove protein, yeast, cloudiness, “off” flavors and colorings, and other particles. It is common to us animal-derived fining agents, however for vegans there are several fining agents that are animal-friendly and used to make vegan wine.
