2022 Pizzolato Edoardo Chianti

From $22

Bright cherry notes entwined with earthy Tuscan whispers of sunbaked clay and ripe plums. A touch of rustic charm emerges in the form of dried violets and a touch of wild herbs, hinting at the organic harmony between vine and earth. Full bodied with a long finish.

Ideal with pasta dishes with meat sauce, baked lasagna, grilled Florentine steak.

An historical building from 1250, is the witness of an important past and of a destiny that has joined two big families producing organic wine together – Gianni Borella of Tuscany who founded the Italian Organic Agriculture Association and organic winemaker Settimo Pizzolato of Venneto – two pioneers of organic wine.
