La Rocca Merlot is smooth and supple with cherry, ripe raspberry, a hint of oak and earth notes with a slight chocolate finish. Well balanced and elegant.   It has a clean finish with medium tannins.  This wine pairs well with venison, lamb, prime rib and a variety of pastas and sauces.
