The eagerly awaited 2006 Cadenza Meritage is here and promises to be another champion! That is a promise, because it only gets better in terroir wines when the “natural” vines, on their own root, push deeper into the soils. Gorgeously complex, a wondrous display of spicy, mocha-laced currant intermingling with ripe black cherry, cassis, sage and white chocolate. Deeply-layered, intense, with a long, complex finish.

Varietals: 39% Cabernet Franc, 37% Merlot,  24% Cabernet Sauvignon.
