The shining ruby red wine has a fruity bouquet with inklings of cherry. It is intense and typical of the country side in Monteriggioni. The taste is gentle, fresh, and harmonic thanks to an appropriate balance of alcohol, tannins, and acidity and it persists a long time on the palate.Best served with first courses of meaty sauces and/or tomato, white meats, fresh or aged cheeses, and charcuterie.
